Taster’s Choice Presents: Moving Units - Between Us and Them

New Tacolicious Taco Stand in SF!
Some head south of the border to indulge a saucy temptation.
Others, like Joe Hargrave, bring the indulgence to you.
Still reeling from his love affair with Mexico City street food, the Laïola owner launches Tacolicious, a simple, inventive taco stand at the Thursday Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
Take your pick from three renditions of chipotle chicken, Coca-Cola-braised beef, or shot-n-a-beer carnitas (in fresh La Palma corn tortillas with house-made salsas like charred tomato and mint). Round things out with grilled corn on the cob while sipping just-made horchata and white peach and mint aguas frescas.
Offerings will change (check back late summer for tomato gazpacho), and Hargrave will even deliver the setup to your next shindig.
For those in search of more intimate carne knowledge.
Available Thursdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, The Embarcadero, at Market Street (415-346-5641). (via Daily Candy)

I Want You Back - Discovery

Quite possibly the zeitgeistiest song possible at this moment in time.  A Jackson 5 cover by the hottest new hipster collab act (you know, the Ra Ra Riot dude and the Vampire Weekend guy), and autotune.  Yes, that’s right.
